How to get there: Take Highway 9 from Breckenridge south, and the trailhead is located on the right hand side ~10 miles outside of town. However, once you hit the pass, stunning views and an easy descent await. Note that there is a gradual incline through the first half of the trail, so good shoes are a must. We went at sunset (pictured above) and it was breathtaking to watch the last golden rays of sun illuminate the nearby peaks.
