He also serves on the boards of the Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) and the University of Delaware, Horn Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. Wedo worked as chairman, president and CEO of the New World Restaurant Group, Inc., which is a group of bagel and coffee businesses including Einstein Bros., from 2001 to 2004. He accepted and became the chief concept officer over the entire group of United States Boston Market restaurants from 1997 to 1999. to offer to purchase his company from him. Wedo's successes with Boston Market while at MidAtlantic Restaurants led Boston Chicken Inc.
